Macedonia has a generally temperate climate. In Northern parts of Macedonia, and in places with higher elevetion, the temperature might be a little cooler. The average summer temperature in Skopje is 73 degrees Farenheit. In the winter, Skopje's average temperature is 34 degrees Farenheit. Macedonia has four seaons, with hot dry summers and cold wet winters.
PACKING
Because Macedonia's seasons are very different, what you pack should depend on when you are going. If you are going to Macedonia in the winter, you should bring long pants and sweatshirts. You should also bring a winter jacket, and maybe an umbrella and raincoat. If you are going in the summer, you should pack shorts and short sleeved shirts, and a sweatshirt just in case. Make sure to also bring clothing and objects that you need for activities you are planning to do. For example, if you plan to go hiking, you might want to bring hiking boots.
